We have the people to guarantee a quality product reaches your door. From the experienced and helpful sales staff to the knowledgeable and quality conscious production crew we strive for the highest standard of excellence.
With every timber cut, a plan is made by
trained foresters to protect the watershed, ensure regeneration, and maintain or increase
biodiversity. To further show our dedication to the environment Lewis Lumber Products and
Dwight Lewis Lumber became Smart Wood certified for chain of custody in 1998. What does
this mean, you may be asking? Let me explain. Smart Wood is a nonprofit organization that
independently and objectively evaluates a company's forestry practices to make sure they

Council. Smart Wood also requires a
clear audit trail from the We plan to have our own timber lands certified by the end of 1999 and we already are Chain of Custody Certified (having a proper audit trail) for lumber coming off of Pennsylvania State Forest Lands, all of which have been certified.
I depend on Lewis Lumber Products as a high quality supplier of our Black Cherry
hardwood needs. We manufacture a solid Cherry raised panel door for the kitchen cabinet
industry. We have found Lewis to be dependable on delivery, consistent in quality, and
competitive in price.
We pride ourselves in quick turnaround and high quality of a millwork product. We need suppliers with those same values. |
